Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Axenta Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you use ClipAd on clipad.io and app.clipad.io.

1. Who we are

Axenta Ltd is the data controller for ClipAd. We decide how and why account, billing, and workspace data are processed.

2. Data we collect

Account data, when you sign up with Google or a magic link:

• Email address
• Name or profile details your sign-in provider sends us

Billing data, when you subscribe:

• Stripe customer identity and subscription status
• Cancel-survey answers if you cancel
• We do not collect card numbers on ClipAd forms. Stripe handles the card.

Workspace data, when you use the app:

• Prompts and chat messages
• Product images and other files you upload
• Generated ads and job status
• Usage needed to run credits and the workspace

Technical data:

• Basic logs such as timestamps and error traces
• Essential cookies described on the Cookies page

We do not ask for a ClipAd password. We do not run a newsletter list that is separate from your account.

3. How we use it and legal bases

• Run your account and workspace — create the login, store threads, generate ads, keep the credit wallet. Legal basis: contract.
• Take payment — start Checkout, record the plan, handle cancel and pay-again. Legal basis: contract.
• Secure and fix the service — stop abuse, debug failures, keep logs for a short time. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Analytics cookies — PostHog, only after you Accept. Legal basis: consent. Reject keeps PostHog off.
• Ads measurement — Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tags, only after you Accept. Legal basis: consent. Reject keeps those tags off.

4. Who we share it with

We use these processors:

• Clerk — accounts and login
• Stripe — payments
• Cloudflare R2 — files
• Supabase — database
• PostHog — product analytics and session replay, only after Accept
• Google — Tag Manager and Ads measurement, only after Accept
• AI and infrastructure providers — we send prompts, product images, and generated media so ClipAd can run. We do not name those vendors on this page.

PostHog (EU cloud) loads only after you Accept. It records page views, product events, frontend errors, and a masked session replay. Chat text, uploads, generated ads, and billing fields are blocked from replay. Server events for pay and generate do not wait for the cookie choice.

We do not sell personal data.

5. How long we keep it

• Account and billing records: while the account exists
• Uploaded files and generated ads: until you delete them or the account is closed
• Technical logs: a short operational period
• Cookie choice: one year, or until you change it

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Receive data you gave us in a common format
• Withdraw cookie consent (Cookie settings in the footer, or Cookies in app settings)

Email info@axenta.io from the address on your account. For a valid deletion request we delete the account data we hold within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep a limited record.

7. International transfers

Processors may handle data in the United States and other countries where they run. They use the contractual and technical protections they offer for those transfers.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, remember this choice, and (if you arrived from a Google ad) keep the click id so a later trial can be matched after you Accept. Analytics cookies are PostHog. Ads measurement is Google Tag Manager / Google Ads. Both stay off until you accept. Full list: Cookies.

9. Children

ClipAd is for people who run a business. It is not directed at children. Do not use ClipAd if you are under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. For a material change that affects an existing account, we may also email you.
